Hello Indie Game Fan Reader!

This is the big one.

Weeks after a new CEO was put in place, the expected "corporate restructuring" has occurred, which has seen a huge number of layoffs and previously acquired studios spinning off, either back to being independent or was sold to some yet unnamed buyers/funding.

Among some of the biggest cuts were at id (which is gross since those DOOM games are great and stood against the trend of free-to-play / live service titles), but everyone across Xbox was affected from Blizzard to Bethesda, Obsidian and even in-house Xbox people (shoutout to affected Xbox Singapore staff). Absolutely brutal.
